The Grass Isn't Always Greener on the Other Side!

Another day has passed, and still not enough action has taken place to help protect these innocent women and children who have been trafficked.

As we continue our research, we ask for suggestions on how to educate our entire student body and school community about the horrifying events that are taking place on the other side of the world as we rest peacefully in our beds.

While looking for news articles on recent trafficking occurrences in Cambodia, we came across this revealing video from BBC News that shows a typical girls life in Cambodia. We thought it would be great to share since it shows the struggles that these young women and children face.

This could be your mother, sister, grandma or even your best friend!
Help us stop human trafficking!

  3. I'm impressed that you have chosen to tackle this difficult topic. I appreciate the courage it takes for global citizens to research and teach about a topic that so many people are denying.
I hate to imagine that there are people in the world who treat other human beings as property. Thank you for taking a step towards stopping this cruelty.

  4. This is such a disheartening and important topic. Its horrible to think that people are taken away from their homes and families and treated like objects. Its very interesting and great choice to focus your concerns on. Thanks so much for working against this disgusting crime.

  7. i honestly think its horrible this is happening everywere. some one should try and help these women and children so that they can be saved. what kinda world is this when women arent safe to go out and make new friends when they have to constantly keep looking over there shoulder to see if someone is trying to get them its sad and inhumane.

  8. I never new how big an issue this was. Even if it was only a minuscule issue it is still horrifying to know that this happens to anyone! I want to learn more about this topic and to be someone that helps these poor women. No one deserves this treatment and those that believe and promote it are sick and need to be stopped. I want to help!
